Hillside apartments, I can see why that would be popular.
My WW is from a residential hillside this week as well.

Is there ever a problem with flooding? Hate to think what the maintenance bills are for a place like that - you can tell I live in an apartment too but nowhwere near as snazzy!

I would love to live near the water. Grew up near the beach. An apartment however is not for us.... not with 4 rambunctious boys!

Very nice & smooth sepia image, which is what I strive for, but never seem to accomplish - I'll keep trying, though!
These are nice looking. They seem to be styled from the early 1900s, although built recently. The look of the past is the draw, and modern things like A/C make them easier to live with...
We also have a riverside in Ottawa, and yes, it's popular for the same reason!

The way they slope down the hill reminds me of San Francisco. It looks great in sepia.
Wonderful picture. It is so clear and sharp. I like a view of the ocean myself but I suppose the river would suffice. I'm not sure I would want to give up so much privacy.
